2020年1月15日，联合国粮农组织驻华代表处召集了中国政府部门、民间机构、私营领域、学术界和媒体等多方的代表，为筹备下月的联合国粮农组织亚洲及太平洋区域第三十五届会议（APRC-35）举办了首次国家级咨询会。
在咨询会现场，联合国粮农组织驻中国和朝鲜代表马文森介绍了APRC-35的相关内容及联合国粮农组织的“手拉手倡议”。中国农业农村部国际合作司国际处处长吴立峰重申了农业农村部对于联合国粮农组织工作的支持，并表示，农业农村部将广泛听取各方建议，积极筹备率团参加APRC-35的相关事宜。会议现场讨论热烈，与会代表们表达了对APRC-35的建议和对与粮农组织未来合作的期待。本次咨询会由联合国粮农组织驻华代表处助理代表张忠军主持。
APRC-35将于今年2月17日至20日在不丹廷布举行，主题涵盖亚太区域的粮食和农业状况、水资源短缺与农业发展、渔业、数字农业、动物健康和植物保护等。联合国粮农组织亚太区域会议每两年召开一次，旨在听取成员国对粮农组织未来两年工作计划的建议。上一届会议于2018年在斐济举行。

On 15 January, 2020, the FAO Representation in China invited representatives from Chinese government agencies, civil society, private sector, academia and media to hold the first national-level consultation meeting for the 35th session of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Asia and the Pacific Regional Conference (APRC-35) next month.
At the consultation meeting, Vincent Martin, FAO Representative in China and DPR Korea, introduced the APRC-35 and FAO’s Hand in Hand Initiative. Wu Lifeng, Division Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China (MARA), reiterated the support of MARA to the work of FAO, and stated that MARA will listen to the suggestions of various parties to better prepare for attending APRC-35. Participants actively expressed their suggestions on APRC-35 and their expectations for future cooperation with FAO. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Zhongjun, Assistant Representative of the FAO Representation in China.
APRC-35 will be held in Thimphu, Bhutan from 17 to 20 February this year. It will cover a wide range of topics, including the state of food and agriculture, water scarcity and agricultural development, fisheries, digital agriculture, animal health and plant protection in the Asia-Pacific region. The FAO Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific is held every two years to listen to the suggestions of member countries on FAO's work plan for the next two years. The last session was held in Fiji in 2018.
